Conscious Living

Q. What is the most important thing we can do to live more in tune with ourselves, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically?
A. Living at a higher level of consciousness with grace, integrity, respect and honor.
We have heard very powerful voices like Dr. Charles Stanley, Oprah, Dr. Phil and Wayne Dyer (just to name a few) talk about it on national television all the time. They have said living life with gratitude, grace and being present-in-the-moment can be the most beneficial thing we can do for ourselves and ultimately benefiting others as well.
Q. Why do we need to live more consciously?
A. A higher level of consciousness allows us to live fully at the present moment, happier, healthier human beings rather than a human doing. A human being rather than a human doing is one that lives on purpose, does things on purpose. A human doing goes about life subjected to every little whim the subconscious mind directs it to do. This is where most life gets lived feeling unhappy, doing things and regretting what has been done. Being in a position of regrets perpetuates self put downs and the cyclical pattern spirals out of control. A human being knows they have choices and takes responsibility for the choices made each and every time he/she does make a choice. A human doing will live life with many regrets, be unhappy and target others to control while they themselves spiral out of control. Living life being dictated by the subconscious mind is victimizing, controlling and ultimately is the dis-ease killing force in our lives and the lives of others. Unhappiness, unrest and down right misery is experienced when life continues to be lived dictated by the subconscious rather than in harmony with the subconscious. The subconscious part of our mind is the store house of all our experiences. Maybe all our experiences were not calm, serene, loving, gracious, respectful and honor our fully human experience. The good news is we do not have to live the rest of our lives as victims or live subjectively by our subconscious mind. This is why we need to become more conscious of every thought, idea, emotion we are having on a subconscious level. We can learn to have control with our life experiences as they are imprinted in our subconscious mind. We start by becoming more aware, living consciously of what the mind, body and spirit speaks. Yes, the mind, body and spirit speak to us regularly. Our willingness to listen to what ever the mind, body or spirit is speaking is the beginning of the process or journey into living life more consciously to the fullest.
Living life in its richest fullness is not living life controlling others. Trying to control others is futile behavior. The only thing we have full control over, when we live life from the prospective as human beings, is the actions, decisions and choices we make about ourselves. Taking responsibility for the choices, actions and decisions we make on a daily basis is living with integrity, grace, respect, humor, flexibility and honor.
Q. How do we live life more consciously?
A. We live life more consciously being in harmony mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Q. How do we get there to living life more consciously being in harmony mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually?
A. We begin with knowing more, understanding more about our ATTITUDE. Our attitude is one thing that we have control with, over and in.
